Thanks, I-Man, and some stellar carries from everyone! ::tu::

For the penultimate day of "occasional carriers," I'm going with the Camillus 72 and the Robeson electrician's knife. It isn't very often when a knife of the 72's vintage is the newer of my carries!

The Robeson's mark side cover and liner are loose, but otherwise it's solid. I was thinking about having the pins re-done. What do y'all say; would that be worth doing?

After a long while carrying the smooth bone M&G/GEC #29, which has almost become a de facto "number 2" for me, I've been carrying a micarta #82 "slenderino max" all week. Super useful blade selection. Bought this to be a user and it has not disappointed.

I Man, I couldn't have you hogging all the "snow shots" ::hmm:: So, I waited outside for about 14 hours until enough snow fell to get a couple of quick pictures before the sun came out and melted it away. ... ::facepalm:: In retrospect, I think I'll stick to warm sunny desert shots and leave this snow 'bidness to ya'll up North ::skeptic::

Wow what a pretty one. Gorgeous bones and condition.

Rrider, that's a beauty too. Great wood.

Bomba, that's getting some sweet patina and love the canvas. And the blade choices. Sweet.

DM11, another 3 beauties.

MI Dan, love that 72, gorgeous bones.

GSPTD, you're killing it. Great shots of snow. Mastered the technique. And beauty knives too. Goes great on a jaw bone.

Great page gents, love them all, great to see every one.

Keen Kutter large 5" toothpick with some interesting bone/stag scales and a Case. 🤭 The City is doing a $3 M Holmes Run Trail fix from when it flooded out back around 2019, finally.

I've been carrying the Case CV mini muskrat this past week. I used to think of it as my Christmas knife due to the red bone, but I really live this pattern and find myself slipping it in my pocket throughout the year. I like the serpentine shape, the fact that the tang ends don't protrude up much above the handle when closed, I like the twin muskrat blades in CV that take a great edge and wear a nice honest patina, I like thay there are no half stops tonget in the way of a smooth opening pull, and she's super snappy as well.

Thank you, Tom, GSPTOPDOG, and I-Man! ::handshake:: I am pretty sure my 72 is Delrin (it looks smooth under the highest power magnification I have available), and if I'm right, it's some of the best Delrin you'll find.

As usual, some excellent carries from everyone! ::tu::

For the last entry in my week of "occasional carriers," I'm bringing out a real favorite.
4 March 2023 Trad Carry.jpg
Of course, an occasional carrier isn't always one that sees limited use because of its age or scarcity. Some occasional carriers have to stay at home because carrying them in the city is begging for trouble.
Kudu.jpg
It's been fun getting these out (and giving them a little bit of maintenance)!
