I gotta agree, the variety and quality of the knives you guys carry is pretty impressive.

Thanks to all for sharing (and for showing me what I "need" next!)

Nice scout Scott ::tu::

Here's this weeks slipjoint carries, you know the usa kershaw is always along for the ride as well. I have to add that the G-Shock watch is 8-10 years old and still running on the original battery. This sucker has been bullett proof under any and all conditions !

Sweet knives, you guys sure do carry a bunch of steel! :lol:

Not long ago I decided to try something completely out of the ordinary for me. I usually carry a whittler, congress, peanut or stockman. I found this:
Queen doctors knife.JPG
I'm not sure what made me decide on a doctors knife, but I've found it to be really a neat knife as I've carried it this last week. That long master blade is really sharp! Oddly, this one isn't D2 steel, its listed as stainless. ::hmm:: I wasn't one for square bolsters, for this knife is a bit over 3.5 inches, and it rides in the pocket nicely. It'll continue in my EDC rotation.

Some very nice knives showing up here. ::tu:: Those Dr. knives are beautiful guys! ::tu:: ::tu::

Garddog, that Ka-bar is sweet! Mom did you right! :mrgreen:

I'm carrying this one in the field this year. I've never owned a Silver Stag before and I'm giving it a serious field test this hunting season. So far it has been an excellent knife.

Gardogg-

The doctors knife was scratching an itch for me. I usually carry a congress or whittler for work, a stockman on weekends, and peanut jacks for church. This knife doesn't really replace those in a practical sense. It's 3.5 inches, just a hare over. It will be one I'll carry for something a little different. I like it, though, it rides pretty good in the lfp. For light duty it works great!

That kabar is pretty nice, Gardogg.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Old hunter, do you like the spatula on that canal street. Really nice looking knife!

And that silver stag is wow...

So far I am very happy with it. It's about 9 1/4" OAL. The blade is tool steel, takes an edge quick and holds it well. It's been on a couple of camping trips and performed well but I'm going to put it to some harder use this hunting season. Fit and finish are very good. I have some question about the tang strength though, as with all hidden tangs. I'll let you know how it holds up through the hunting season.

Yeah Jerry....that word has a way of stickin' with ya through the years...sort of a multi-purpose word that can take on just about any meaning ya give to it depending on the inflection and tone of delivery! :lol:
