Scott -- Very nice '46-'56 Imperial Scout. Main blade is full and not too much "Patina" on the blades. Good find my friend.

McGrew / Camillus 72. It has it's own thread but I'm going post it here as well. Very good condition and I'm quite pleased with it.

Jerry, nice Hillbilly - how many variations of the carpenters whittler pattern do you have now? You could do a nice display of the variations. OH

Thanks Colonel. I only have 21 right now. Not nearly as many as the King, Carrmillus. Last time I heard I think he said he has forty something.

Thanks WB. I'm very pleased with it. It's in excellent condition. It was only coming from Minnesota but the seller did ship as quick as possible, considering the holiday.

Unfortunately I've picked up an orange Kershaw virus too. This Kershaw Skyline came in today's mail. I'm wrestling with myself on whether to take it out of the packaging and fondle it or leave it alone.

This calls for a celebration. I bought the Queen/Burke Barlow when it first came out. It instantly became my favorite EDC. Probably sounds silly but I bonded with that knife; far more so than any other I've had. After several months it was lost, more likely stolen. I looked for a replacement for months. Finally a mint knife turned up on ebay. It just arrived minutes ago. The F&F are super. With my finger tip I cannot feel any transition between the bolster and scales.

Thank you guys. In general I was pretty much a Trapper person. It was this particular knife that opened the world of Barlows for me.

Steel, that Barlow looks to be pretty special … very nice find, happy you were able to fill the void.

Jerry, you can start out by just fondling the package and see where it goes from there …

Last night, as I was watching the Cubs do to Pittsburgh what Washington had just done to them (four times in a row), it hit me. This is never going to be a high dollar collectable. It might be a little more valueable in a hundred years if the package is unopened but what do I care when everyone alive now is taking a dirt nap.

It's not an AO, it's a flipper. I'll not be rushing out to get all the colors or running around looking for more flippers to add to the accumulation but it's fine. G-10 handles are a little rough and really don't suit my taste. I'm happy to discover the drop point blade to be more appealing than I expected. The whole knife is a wee bit on the "basic" side, which doesn't suit me either. On the plus side, the liner lock locks up hard and tight, she's Kershaw wicked sharp and what there is of her is well put together. At 4-1/4" closed she's no lady's knife but the reversable pocket clip should make her easy to carry (not that I will). The lines are pleasing to the eye and for some odd reason, I'm lovin' the orange. Not sure where that came from or where it's going but for the time being, I'm happy with it.

Yes the orange handles are really as deep and colorful in hand as they are in the pictures.
