I ran across this Bear by mistake, found it while looking for a different knife and was struck by the rosewood handle, and the unique-ness of having a single blade knife that is a wharncliffe, and also a lockback.
I haven't been paying much attention to B&S knives. But when I saw yours it made me sit up and take notice. The wood and blade makes for quite a handsome piece. Excellent catch.

I agree, Johnnie - very nice, Monk … ::tu::

Quick question - that Case knife … wouldn't that qualify as a "Risque Bisque" … ?

Or maybe collecting those could be considered "Risque Bisque-ness"?

OK, I'll stop. It's early man, gimme a break …

Either way, really nice knives!

Ya see, Monk? Ya hit one wrong key and this is what ya get. There's an old joke that goes something like that but it's not fit to tell in mixed company.

I started to last night but restrained myself, now Paul's pushed me over the 'edge' (pun intended). As long as it's beat on Monk day, I might as well pile on.

Jerry, I believe you have captured the 'essence' of the man … !

Monk! Ya finally landed that "cub reporter" gig!

Johnnie, you and me seem to have the same twisted sense … … puts me in pretty good company, I'd say.
