Beautiful antler, great looking knife. Do love a good spear and a whittler.
How big are those? Thanks.

I woke up today ::zzz:: after a fitful night's sleep and as I forced myself out of bed, I realized I did not know what to carry today  . I said to myself; "WWDC" (What Would Dan Carry)?" Then it hit me ::idea:: So, I went with an Imperial DE and a Kline sheep's foot. The Kline is for cutting up boxes and pieces of carboard for shipping and maybe some rope and the Imperial is to take on any dangerous pieces of fruit that might attack me in the kitchen ::paranoid::

Thanks for the inspiration today, Dan ::handshake:: I owe you one

I certainly wish you well in your efforts to acquire a BD., GSP. You probably know that BDs are out of production and like other brands in similar circumstances the name was bought and taken to China. The only ones you want are those made in Solingen Germany or the very few made in the U.S.

Several of our AAPK stores have Bull Dogs, e.g. Sharpnshinyknives, Sanders, and others. Last time I looked there was a superb MOP Cattle Knife at Sharpnshinyknives.

Thanks Q.S. I will check out Sharpnshinyknives store. A few years ago, an older gentleman that used to shop at the local swap meet had a huge collection of Case, Schrade, etc. and Bulldogs. Well, he set up and sold off most of his collection... WHILE I was out of town. I picked up a couple of Boker and Bulldogs from him, but I missed out on almost all of the sale :x ::dang:: Oh well... ::facepalm::

In recent days my carry knives are generally Barlows. But my desk knives are usually chosen to keep me inspired such as this BD.
