redrider, a question. When you determine to carry a contemporary style,one-hand opening knife, such as your Zero Tolaerance, do you do so because of particular activities you expect in your day where this style will be more convenient? Or do you, like me, just enjoy using different styles from time to time. Just curious.

Woodwalker, I admire your choice of today's knife. Every Keen Kutter I have has delivered excellent performance.

I like mixing it up, unless I have planned outdoor activities like at the farm or hiking. Then I have my go-to knives.

I figure, I own it why not enjoy it? A knife sitting in a cabinet or box at home doesn't give me the same enjoyment as having it in-pocket. 😉

Redrider, I bought that at an antique store years ago. It's been sitting on my desk at work for over 20 years. I use it as a paper weight. Its seems fairly old. Thanks for the comments. ::handshake::

Some nice carries from everyone!

The gray Case 4220 is one I hadn't carried for a while, and I hadn't carried the Schrade 77OT. A Leatherman Micra is also on hand; Beijing's fur trimming is still ongoing.

Excellent group! I had a Micra, but it had bad scissors, and at the time, I didn't think about sending it back to Leatherman, and had for some reason, taken it apart. I like the design, as it has full-size and decent scissors. I'd prefer the Squirt S4, but those have been discontinued for quite some time now.

I like the colored handles, as unlike the plain stainless models, they cover the tweezers to prevent them hanging up on something. I suspect it's why I see quite a few used ones with broken tweezers.

Thank you QS! Just seen your post. Work kept my hopping today! I appreciate your comments and agree an old KK is an exceptional knife. That little pen is one of my favorite EDC's. Have a good evening! ::handshake:: :)

Today's Throwback Thursday is a tribute to 1776, a Kershaw 1776TS with a lanyard from my bud in Germany. 🇺🇲

They first made the Sequel with different handles (I think they were black, but I am not sure of the material they used). Mine is one of a limited edition that was made for Shot Show several years ago. I found mine at a knife store this month. The handles are blue aluminum on this limited run. The Sequel was discontinued.... not sure why, it is a really nice knife.
