Bought this one today but it is 2.8 inches long closed. It won't be the same. ::disgust:: ::tear::
That’s a good looking knife and I am willing to bet that over time for grieving your loss, you will eventually feel the same about this replacement.
For some reason I don’t understand, I’ve only lost Buck knives so I switched to another brand and haven’t lost it in five years so far. All subsequent Bucks are in my collection and not EDC’s.
What’s very unique on the new one is that it looks like it has a Scandinavian grind. I’ve never seen that on a very small blade before. I’m tempted to buy one for myself.
Thanks Oscar! Appreciate your comments! ::tu:: ::super_happy::
The Linder knife is here. Just haven't posted any pictures of it yet due to lack of time but I have a week of vacation time next week so I'll tie a lanyard for it and post pictures of it next week. F&F is pretty good but not perfect. It is a solid little guy & is snappy in both directions. For €13 shipped it was a good buy IMO. ::tu::

And..., I found my LB-1 also. ::tu:: ::super_happy:: Although I told my wife to check all my jeans 👖, it was in one of them & went through the wash but was not harmed. ::tu:: I am so glad I didn't lose it. ::nod:: :D It's such a cool little knife. ::nod:: ::super_happy::

Been kinda hankering for one of these for awhile now. Would have prefered a little cheaper price but what the heck.

Well, Nick....all I can say is; had I seen that before you, you wouldn't have had to make the statement, "most I've ever paid for a knife". ::tu:: ::handshake::

That is one gorgeous looking knife you have coming to you. You made a GREAT choice in grabbing that one. Congrats!

Thanks LJ, looks like one of Jeff's better knives to me. Truth is I don't like paying more $$$$ for knives but Jeffin's knives have been under priced in the past in my opinion.

Wowza! It looks better than factory Buck 501s in stag! (honestly, the curves of the 5OT are more attractive than the 501 to me).

I'm calling that money well spent. Someday I'll own one of those beauties.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that it will look just as good or better in person.

Thanks Tvic I bought the 5OT to carry, but when I got it I thought that’s too nice to scuff up.

ARRRGG ! My package from Jeffin with the stag 5OT was out for delivery today but didn't show. Checked the tracking and it says Return to sender Package cannot be delivered with this address. Second time I have experienced this in the last month. Pretty sure it is the fill in mailman that is causing the problem. Last package showed up the next day. sigh... life is full of small disappointments.

That's funny Jamie. I got a schrade 206 barlow from Jeffin a while back with great jigged bone handles. When it came I was glad to see some small pitting on the blades ( which were in Jeff's description). I put it in my pocket right away and that is where it has stayed.

I pretty recently had a similar issue. Out for delivery on a Friday, showed as delivered, but wasn't there. Checked everywhere on the lower level of the house and all around the property. Even asked the clerk at the Post Office about it later that day and did the "where is my package" deal on the USPS site. The package showed up the next Monday. A fill-in mailman was delivering on that particular Friday.

Hope your package shows up soon!

Thanks Dan, pretty sure it will show up on Monday. Our regular mailman usually does a pretty good job. BUT I WANT IT NOW !
