Took my three bladed Craftsman, all three broken, one bolster gone and part of handle chipped away,to the local sears today to see if it could be repaired. They told me they no longer make pocket knives, but they still honored the warranty!.....So they directed me to their utility knife section where I picked out a blister pack of two ::tu:: knives & this be dem. Sheffields, they seem to be pretty good steel and they feel nice inna hand

John Primble: India Steel Works

Old and worn, but rescued and patched. I think this may be up to 100 years old. Made by Geo. Schrade, Walden N.Y. The punch has Pat. No. 701.878 stamped on it. Schade made these for hardware stores Like Belknap Hardware and Hibbard Spencer Bartlett Co. Found at estate sale, $1.00

That is a great pick up. The condition looks very good. Is there any wobble in the blades? ::tu::

Just Plain Dave, postage would be more than the knife..LOL

Quick steel, yeah it is in pretty good shape. had a big piece of handle missing, fixed that, had plenty of rust too. Has good strong springs. The Punch is very tight, the spay blade, not bad at all, what used to be the main blade with the long pull, it's kind of loose, still cleans finger nails real fine. ::tu:: I'm glad to have found this one, I don't think I'll see another one any better, anytime soon.

I noticed a new thread "Your cheap, worn, or tattered EDC's" this knife falls right into that category.
