Thanks to all for the kind words, and as usual, y'all are carrying some superb knives!

Today's carry is a Victorinox Pioneer that I acquired in a trade with jmh58 last year. Down the Alox rabbit hole I happily went with this one! An Opinel No. 6 is keeping the Pioneer company.

That is an exceptionally nice combo, both in appearance and practicality.

Yes if you throw a coin in it’s supposed to mean you will return to Rome… but I was tempted to throw in a few vendors that bugged the sh#$ out of me, and you say anything to them they say “oh aggressive American” . But after you say something to just one of them, they all stay away. And that’s What I wanted in the first place.

::rotflol:: Looks like your "wish" came true ::nod:: Well, I was in Rome a few years ago and I know exactly what you mean, in fact I bought a "painting" form a guy the had an easel and a pochade box, etc. It turns out the "painting" was a print that I saw for sale later and I had paid 5Xs what I could have bought it for in any lousy tourist shop :x

Who made the three-blade one? I found an Imperial whose covers look similar...I'm waiting on the seller to answer one simple question about it (and not holding my breath).

As always, thanks to all for the kind words, and y'all are toting some dandies. My carries for today are a Schrade 33OT and a Camillus 27, both purchased from GSPTOPDOG.

The 3 bladed knife is made by Hammer Brand (I found a source that states: "Hammer brand was originally a trademark of the old times New York Knife
Company, and was started around 1880. Like many of the old knife
companies, New York Knife ceased operations in 1931 during the great
depression.") AAPK states " Imperial bought Hammer Brand in 1936"
I might end up selling it, let me know if you are interested. ::hmm::

:D And you are carrying some GREAT looking knives today ::tu:: ::tu::
