Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I also brought out some military knives for a photo opportunity: a WWII-era Camillus electrician's knife and a Vietnam-era Schrade paratrooper knife.
The Camillus 27 that Herbva transformed for me last year also came out for a photo opportunity.
I'm carrying these four. From top to bottom: a MAM Filmam 2B, a Camillus 72, an Opinel No. 6 in olivewood, and a Camillus 27 (in anticipation of having to run some wire).
And as usual, everyone is carrying some great cutlery.

Those are a great and fitting selection, Dan. (I thought I was the only one with a couple of MAM knives.) The Camillus 37 by Herbva is a beauty.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I am trying to make my EDC as US-made as possible.
Today, I have a
Kershaw Scallion Snap-On Tools edition
Leatherman PST
Case Caliber 47 pattern Stockman
Tekna Xtra-Edge "backup" knife with the blunt/screwdriver tip (but, it's still pointy enough to open just about anything--so more like an opposing bevel/pry tip than a true rescue blade). Designed for a keychain, but I toss it in the pocket, or hang it off the shackle from a belt loop.
Only the whistles aren't--they are a Fox 40 Mini made in Canada and a British-made Acme dog whistle (I've got my mostly-Corgi mixed breed trained with it). I prefer Acme's 636 to the Fox as it's more compact, but both are in various kits at the present, and I need to buy more. The Fox is still plenty loud. Also, I can't get feed stuck in it as easily.

Nice group! Love the micarta on the TL-29. I've got an example with a badly melted back handle I've been thinking about getting fixed as it looks awful as-is.Dan In MI wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 3:52 am I also brought out some military knives for a photo opportunity: a WWII-era Camillus electrician's knife and a Vietnam-era Schrade paratrooper knife.

When it comes to actually doing wiring, I think the hawkbill versions of the TL-29 are better, as if I have to skin anything that is a serious wire, the hawkbill usually works quicker. To the point I traded my Granddad for a Case 62031LHR when I was doing a lot of electrical work as a part of a mechatronics program I took about 5 years ago. Buddy of mine carried a slightly newer stainless version.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
The wire I'm running is regular ol' 12-2. The scraper on the 27's screwdriver should be just fine for taking care of the yellow sheath around the wire itself. I'll strip the insulation off the hot and neutral wires with either my well-used wire stripper or a Leatherman Squirt E4.
Nice carries from all, and thanks for the kind words! I could be wrong, but perhaps John is carrying a hydration pack?

I am carrying this turd today, I can only dream to own a GEC with its under-performing, cheap steel and brass liners! This is one of one by Joel Chamblin,CPM 154 and mammoth ivory. I paid 600 bucks for this hand made beauty. Integral 416 liners and bolsters.

So busy at work today (First of the month) I forgot to post my lockback- Empire, Winstead, CT. It was just sharp enough to bite into those Mandarin skins.
