Very nice choices today gents, same-old-same-old here again (which I'm perfectly happy with).

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Cutco 1886 Pocket Knife. Expensive for what it is, but it's a decent knife. The finger grooves actually fit my hand for once.
Thanks in part to the company logo etched on the blade, I got this one super-cheap about two or three years ago, and had Cutco sharpen it up for me earlier this year. I think the guy working the wheel was an amateur, and got too heavy-handed. In my opinion, an excessive amount of metal was rremoved, but it's at least sharp (albeit, not shaving sharp), as opposed to dull from not being sharpened originally, and blunt due to my poor skills.
The company logo was squarely in the middle of the blade before the sharpening job, and now it's almost on the bottom. There's hardly any room between the bottom of the logo and the edge.

Love the orange color, the Oregon shield, and the Orvet customization. Sweet knife.
Great pic of the raw materials for your carvings, the sweet stag on the mod you made, and the finished man. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
DM, thanks, appreciate the comment.
FFF, great pic of the tools for fun. Nice knife too.

Maserin Plow is what I carry mostly. Built like a tank. D2 blade, Micarta handles, half stop, and thick stainless steel liners. I don’t consider it a part of my collection, but rather a hard working tool that I use daily.

Thanks, Jamie. One of our Canal Street club knives was done in Ram's horn, a favorite. I like when they have character, almost like grill marks.

Oscar, Liking the looks of your Maserin; both thin and tough, an excellent combo of characteristics.

Great looking micarta, love the color and the weave. Nice to hear it's built like a tank. Cool knife.
