Cato, I have to add my cudo's! That is a spectacular EO pocketknife - one to be proud of.
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

In today's mail delivery was this USA made Kershaw 1735OR Zing. Heaven help me, I think I'm now becoming addicted to Kershaws and in particular the orange G-10 scaled models. I just bought a Wild Turkey and I'm watching a Shallot (no orange there). Help! ::facepalm::

The Zing is not an AO but it does have a flipper on it, which is good because I can't manage those thumb studs. I was drawn like a moth to a flame by the grooves milled into the blade and of course, those orange G-10 scales. She's 3-7/8" closed which falls well within my criteria of over 3-1/2". As you can see, the clip can be repositioned for tip up or tip down.

Yeah Jerry, that is one groooovey Kershaw, I can dig it!
I bet that blade would be good for food prep....slices of cheese and tomato and cucumber probably fall away real easy without sticking, give 'er a try and let me know!

Speaking of Waca-Waca. I can't seem to lay off these Winchesters, expecially the 2921 Swell Center Jack (Coffin Jack). This one came in the mail today.

Those are slick aren't they. It's one of the things that draws me to those knives (this is my second one). Why did I need two? How the heck should I know. ::shrug::

I posted this over in the "New GEC" thread but I'm so tickled with it I have to spread it around. I know it's no big deal to those who have hundreds of the GECs to get a new one but for me, it's an event. It's a 53 Furtaker Trapper with Burnt Sky acrylic handles. Thanks a bunch to Greg @ TSA.
