Looks like a Queen #10 Jack knife to me. In the late 40's there were a few years where there was no tang stamp. They etched the master blade. They had Roger Bone covers. Looks like the etch is worn off. Nice Knife.

By golly, I think you're on to something there, David! Thanks for looking. It looks just like a Queen #10. The secondary has been reshaped from a pen to a small sheepsfoot. Very cool info.

John, you are correct. That toenail is definitely a pocket full. I use it as sort of an anchor to keep me from tipping over.
