I guess I'll consider this an incoming salvo from our own "Q". I had done his Case knife and thought I was fairly compensated. Of course, in true Q fashion, he wasn't done yet, and sent me a package with multiple knife goodies.

Of particular note is a Bruckmann in elephant tusk, something I didn't have in my Bruckmann collection. Wonderful!

There is also a sweet Queen half whittler, along with some older knives that have promise.

A true Q strafing run, well done sir!!!

I had this posted a while ago but must have forgot to hit submit. Both my brain and my phone are having technical difficulties lately, you'll have to forgive me friends.

I purchased this little pearl lockback from Scott. It came fully protected in an APC (altoids personnel carrier) which was both highly effective and kind of hilarious. Also on board was a fresh load of Florida Fatwood and a nice piece of keychain jewelry. Its been added to my knife ring that has some keys on it. Always a pleasure good sir ::handshake::

That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend. ::tu::

Some of you may have seen a post I made a while back on the restoration of a Cattaraugus 32029 Sowbelly where I spent a great deal of time and effort to get it back into useable condition. I then added that the Sowbelly was the last knife on my bench to get fixed up and then I would out of projects for the foreseeable future as I am now temporarily unable to walk until I get my left hip replaced on Aug 7. Well what do you guys think happened at that point? I got several PMs from people wanting to donate knives to replenish my lineup of projects. That's AAPK people for you!! A big thanks to Floyd (doglegg), Chris (PringleTree), and Dale (orvet). I now have more than a dozen projects to get after.

I was advised that in addition to the knife agreed upon in the trade there would be a bonus.

I was surprised when my wife told me I had mail and handed me a box that was 14 inches long.

I had not imagined that the knife I traded for, a very nice Forrest Master, would become the featured artist on someone else's album.

It seems my new buddy Stakeknife woke up feeling generous that day. There's a few cool little souvenir knives, and a few that'll see some carry time. I love the Kabar and the Camco appears to be a modified electricians knife? There's even a shirt from a familiar website. Definitely cool.

Im super grateful, and more than a little humbled. The megatonnage of this cluster-munition of cool will outmatch that of my own little sneak attack by many powers of ten. A good trade sir. ::tu::

Definitely a great example of the top-shelf character of the fellas in the knife community.

OC, Jim, is a very gracious Craftsman. In my mailbox today was found this box and these treasures. One of his beautifully turned pens, a little bird house and one of his awesome miniature Canada Goose decoys! Wonderfully carved and perfectly painted. Not the first time I've been hit by his handiwork. I am humbled. Wow!

Pringle Tree (Chris) just bombed me with an ALOX Pioneer SAK!! I had mentioned that I had around 7 different SAK's and I had been carrying one since the early 80's. He said he bought a Alox Pioneer in 1977 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the mall and had just retired it!! I mentioned that I would have to look that one up and didnt have one. He messaged me and asked for my address and he said he found something in his house he thought I might like. Well, my wife told me on my lunch break that I had a package. Man, that second half of the day was so long. I couldn't wait to get home. I just got home from work and opened my package and now am the PROUD owner of a beautiful Alox Pioneer SAK!! Thank you so much Chris!! I will carry it and show this knife off at work and will always think of such a nice gesture on your part Chris!! My wife says,"that is one pretty knife!!! ::handshake:: :D ::ds:: ::ds::
