For Sunday School and Church this morning I am going to carry this George Wostenholm I*XL dogleg jack.

It is amazing how different that IXL Jack looks from the one I have!
I'm just bumming around the house. I don't love it by any means but my Buck 303 is in pocket.

Just rotated the GEC Montana Workhorse Whittler and Cast Trapperlock out and replaced with the new Kershaw Blur Tiger Stripe and Famars Lama knife.
Both up for review at the moment.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Like most of you I have more knives than I can pack. But here are the ones that I currently have in my rotation.
1. Eye Brand jumbo 4.25" stockman
2. Tree Brand 4" stockman
3. Hen and Rooster sowbelly for Sunday go to meeting and other dressy occasions.
4. Daddy's old worn out Eye Brand Copperhead.
5. Buck 301 made up special for me by Buck when the new one I'd bought wasn't up to snuff (one of the toughest knives I own and I don't even like stainless).
6. Hen and Rooster medium Congress.
7. Tree Brand USA jumbo Congress
8. Queen Premium Stockman
I've got long fingers and big hands. When I use a knife I want it to fill my hand, I don't want no little finger nail knife. The Eye Brand jumbo stockman, the Buck, and the Boker stockman are probably the best using knives I have ever had.

Gave the '84 Case Barlow some pocket time today at work...knew I was going to have a couple of truck loads of product to off load and put away, so it was a heavy duty day that called for a heavy duty knife. Did the trick quite nicely...This sucker is solid as a rock and snaps like a gator...

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I thought pretty hard when I was loading up this morning.
This Primble Barlow comes closer than any of my other knives to the ideal... small blade in front, SOLID construction.
I eyed a couple of Remingtons in the members store. The R303 (I think it is) jack at 3.5 or so with Spear and Pen and Delrin scales really spoke to me. Alas this has to do it for the foreseeable future:

Dave,
If you get tired of that ol' Primble........
I think I could find a good home for it.
Don't seem like much of a hardship using that while you ponder getting that Remmy.

Here's a quick pic I took with the cell phone. You can see that the clip blade is about sharpened away. There's also a small crack in the yellow handles. But man will it cut, let me tell you.whitebuffalo58 wrote:Nice rotation, Colonel! I like the big'ns too. Love to see a pic of your Daddy's old Copperhead.

1st Schatt and Morgan to me. 3 inch Goldenroot scales whittler with Wharncliffe blades. Man I have fallen in love with this knife. The thing gets scary sharp. Two little pen blades on the other end of it. Might have to get another few Schatts after this.

No change from the Primble in Right Front.
Ever present Red Scaled Imperial Scout in Left Front.
And since I have a nice watch pocket I have this Case 'nut in it:
