Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Lots of gems being show here on my favorite thread!
Great selections gentlemen!
I tried cutting it down to two EDC's but I failed!
I was back up to 3 last week and now I have back slid completely!
Can't help myself though, I just love having a pocket full of knives.
This weeks pocket packers are...,
Case
Bรถker
Schrade
Buck
(+ My standard small Victorinox + my RR keychain knife + my NT Cutter + my Zippo + + +)
If I had a Native American name I guess it could have been "7-Knives" or maybe "Pack-Rat".
No wonder I weigh so much. And no wonder I can't ever find my NT Cutter when I need it. A no wonder my pockets keep getting holes in them.
Looks like I'm in direct competition with Cody.
Thanks for looking friends!

We had one over by Freeport, IL. Probably not the same one though.
I'm a creature of habit. Been packin' this Case Mini-T in the watch pocket of my jeans since the day I got it in the mail from Cuz (Colonel26).

Nice group!
Yep, I know the feeling, especially when trying to find something in my front right pocket (aka the tool pocket); especially my flashlight. I have tried lightweight folders (didn't like the ergonomics) and tried just carrying a single catch-all large SAK (Swiss Champ) or multitool (Leatherman Wave, and later Charge TTi), and it never really worked (though I do strongly recommend the Charge over the Wave due to better blade steel, ergonomics, and build quality). I tried a belt sheath (Gerber CustomFit Dual) that had pockets for most of the stuff on me, and it would hang on everything and pulled my pants down. I've always had 2-3 (or more) knives, a SAK or small/pocket-friendly multitool, and dedicated pliers as well as a flashlight and a pocket first aid kit. I try to keep the weight of what I have under two pounds, but that never really worked out.
I noticed a place specializing in police supply I buy their line of knives from is having their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale, and I'm thinking about trying tactical pants to spread the weight out better. These usually have a few more pockets than cargo pants, including pockets just below the front ones for knives with clips. They're even designed to have the clip go down into the leg pocket so it doesn't snag on anything. I lost a brand new multitool last month when a trash bag snagged the bottom of the clip, so these would've prevented that issue.

Thanks Willy, much appreciated. It is a special one to me, the stag is very old. The steel is Damasteel, which is RWL-34 and PMC-27, holds a very nice edge. The blade and spring are a 30 twist pattern and the bolster and frame are integral and made from Small Roses pattern Damasteel.WillyCamaro wrote: โSat Nov 27, 2021 6:23 pm Oooo Kris, that one is a work of art! Couple Camillus made knives. Trapper has Craftsman Sta-Sharp etch and a High Carbon Steel tang stamp. Cattle knife has Sta-Sharp Four Blade Carbon Steel etch and a Made In U.S.A. tang stamp.
