I got blindsided by this knifeaddict1965 DOUBLE BOMB special delivery yesterday that literally blew me right off my feet After all the dust had settled, I picked myself up off the floor to behold these two amazing pieces of red-hot shrapnel glowing in my hands sending shock waves of excitement and pure joy throughout my entire body. Glad you like the knives, Q! They couldn't have went to a more deserving dude. This is the first Medium ACSB Toothpick I have seen, so due to the limited opportunities to get another, my OCD wouldn't allow me to keep it out of the Best ACSB sub-collection on the planet.

Great Bombs everyone! Always great to see the kindness and generosity of so many here on the forum...

Got home from Thanksgiving festivities last night and found my mailbox door blown clean off the hinges from this Awesome "BOMB" sent courtesy of my good friend Q from the big island in the middle of the Pacific. I was totally blown away with this beautiful DFKB Titusville Cutlery Bradshaw Syrup Maker Special that several of you may remember our fellow forum member, Carl (Rookie), had produced last year to pay homage to his family's maple syrup making history.

I absolutely love this Teardrop Old Man Jack design and the sheepsfoot long pull blade with the maple leaf stamp and red birdseye maple handles are simply Amazing.

Thanks again, Q, for this Beautiful and Generous Thanksgiving "BOMB". I am truly thankful for our friendship and all the friendships I have made with such a wonderful group of guys and gals who share in this hobby/addiction.

Waukonda, knifeaddict, I was already shaking at the sheer magnitude of the force of those blasts when the heat waved rolled in and overtook me. Then came the shockwave and the aftermath of the devastation. Hope you're both recovering from the magnitude of those strikes.


Felt a distinct disturbance myself in the Force that could not be explained. Nothing seemed awry, couldn't define the vibrations, were no detectable signs of something amiss. Then as I blew off the outside of the mail box and slowly opened the door, it hit me. Heat and debris and dusty, acrid haze were the unmistakable signs of an event. The evidence was clear as glass. Like a V2 rocket out of the clouds came a hiss like the run off of an old LP, or the leader of a cassette tape. And then, out of the dark, arched hole in the facing end of the metallic postal receptacle came the foggy view of the Queen mother of all heavy artillery. The bomb of bombs and all manner of explosive devices, had smashed into my brain tissue like hot magma from the Volcano. Kilahuella had spit it out like hot magma and flung it across time zones and leagues of ocean and sky toward the East where it landed to the mad shreiks and wails of the unsuspecting victim. Then all went black and suffocating heaviness sucked the very oxygen from the air and when the dust finally settled the unmistakable odor of burlap and carbon and vintage American steel filled the air and burned the nostrils. And then a long, stunned, thoughtful silence followed.
