Thanks Dan!

Just checked out your "Traditional Tuesday" video on the Sod Buster Jr.

Very nice video. Made me want one of them

Oh, and your German was pretty good too!

Thanks Dan!
Oh cool, I'll check these out after work today.1967redrider wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 4:12 pm My recent hobby-
Definitely takes up more space than pocket knives.
I've enjoyed learning how these work and the electronic aspects and maintenance.
Nice looking watches Rick!Railsplitter wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 11:56 pm I’ve always been fascinated with watches ever since my childhood days but I’ve never really considered myself a watch collector. Lately I’ve been thinking that maybe I’m in denial about that.
Thank you, Tom!
Those were cool videos John. I liked the third one with the trucks & smoke effects best.

Your train yard is getting pretty full.
Looks like fun too. Tell me what gage is that? HO? And is it direct current, alternating current, analog, digital ?
My little N-Gage was an analog set. Didn't have to think much about it when I bought it.
Can you run digital on analog or analog on digital?
Think it's all coming back to me why I bought a set.

O Gauge. Wow, that's even bigger than HO.1967redrider wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 5:56 pmThanks, Tom. It's mainly O Gauge Lionel, the track is actually O-27 which is the tightest curve, since I have limited space. I call it Landmark Yards, and as you can see the yards is pretty full. I'm using 3 AC transformers from 50 - 110 Watts.TPK wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 5:34 pmThose were cool videos John. I liked the third one with the trucks & smoke effects best.![]()

Wow! Impressive collection!MissouriGuerrilla wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 12:03 pm I was collecting autographs, but life kept me from pursuing them so vigorously. My mother was an elevator girl at the old Townhouse Hotel in Kansas City, Kansas in the fifties and she got a few autographs while she worked there. The Townhouse is known as the hotel Patsy Cline stayed in before boarding her last flight. Mom had already left there by that time. My collection includes...
Bob Denver, Dawn Wells and Russell Johnson (Gilligan, Mary Ann and the Professor)
Jerry Lewis
Don Knotts
Johnny Cash
The Wilburn Brothers
Roy Acuff
Frank White (former Royals second baseman)
Albert Lewis (former Chiefs and Raiders cornerback)
Bob Barker
Freddy Fender
Ed Asner
Jennifer Jones
All four original members of KISS
Wrestling manager, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
Wrestler, Sid Vicious
Bill Clinton (My grandparents got that one when he was running for Governor of Arkansas)
Michael Tucker (former Royals outfielder)
There's a few more, but I can't remember them. I have them packed away in hopes of displaying them in my home at some point.
Love the teeth!
Schleich and Bullyland are both German brands, and thus probably easier to find in your neck of the woods. Tractor Supply's had them here since they opened, along with Breyer. A couple other stores sold them, albeit briefly.

I have about half a dozen horses from Schleich, as well as a few dogs, cattle, and wildlife (Schleich is also very well known for their Smurfs line).he scale is usually somewhere around 1:18-1:20, which is just right. They are big enough to display a good amount of detail, but small enough to not take up much room. They also aren't that fragile--if one falls from a shelf, the worst problem is a paint scuff.

There's a third brand called "WIA" that originally did super-expensive high-end resin horses in 1:9 scale. Recently, they started offering 1:18 horses based on the same sculpts/designs. They are said to be made by Bullyland and are the same rubbery plastic material as Schleich. However, the detail is much more than Schleich and about equal to the big 1:9 Breyer horse.
I don't have any (MSRP is around $20-30, about double what I normally pay for Schleich at local stores, and they're only found online). I found one that a seller threw in a Breyer lot for $10 (that includes about half a dozen Stablemates, including an early one), but it has a mold defect on the belly and a couple tiny paint defects.
