Really nice Challenge knives Roger, I also try to find them, I think they are some of the highest quality of the vintage knives.

Just picked up this 3 3/8" Challenge with unusual herringbone bone and a great early tang stamp, one of the best tang stamps ever in my opinion.

That is a beautiful Challenge, John, and I certainly won't argue with your comments about the tang stamp. Just a classy old knife in all aspects.

Beautiful 3 3/8" jack you are showing John. Exceptional really.

And speaking of exceptional, Roger, your previous knives are real standouts, as usual, as is this black hunter you are showing.

John - the tang stamp is very cool on that knife 8) - I have only seen just a few Challenges with that stamp but have no clue if it has anything to do with a certain time they used it on knives ::hmm:: ...

Those cokebottles with the Daniel Boone etch are pretty cool.

Very nice, Roger. There is a great look about both of those, but that one with the Boone etch is a real beauty...Cocobolo?

Thanks Lee, I'm thinking from what I have observed is that etch is an early one and I don't think it was used for very long.
