Really nice Challenge knives Roger, I also try to find them, I think they are some of the highest quality of the vintage knives.
Just picked up this 3 3/8" Challenge with unusual herringbone bone and a great early tang stamp, one of the best tang stamps ever in my opinion.

That is a beautiful Challenge, John, and I certainly won't argue with your comments about the tang stamp. Just a classy old knife in all aspects.

Beautiful knife John. Those handles have to be related to Schrade.

Beautiful 3 3/8" jack you are showing John. Exceptional really.
And speaking of exceptional, Roger, your previous knives are real standouts, as usual, as is this black hunter you are showing.
Great show guys.

John - the tang stamp is very cool on that knife

Re: A CHALLENGE for you.
A couple days ago I posted a Challenge cokebottle. Today I will post a Wilbert made by Challenge, etched Daniel Boone.

Those cokebottles with the Daniel Boone etch are pretty cool.

Very nice, Roger. There is a great look about both of those, but that one with the Boone etch is a real beauty...Cocobolo?

Roger, beautiful Wilbert with a great etch!
Those two make a hand winning pair in my opinion.

Thanks Lee, I'm thinking from what I have observed is that etch is an early one and I don't think it was used for very long.
