Decided to switch things up a little today and I'm dog legging it. I can't figure out why no one is still making these, I love them.

This Ulster in Ebony is swedged with half-stops. Picked it up at my only knife show this year, a whopping $40. In hand it feels like an extension, a great cutter.

Very nice, I like the material, shape, and the pen blade spring that fills in the gap. ::tu::

This has been with me today. A 4" Stockman was made by Schrade for Jim Parker. He had an Eagle series made commemorating American patriots. This one was for Nathan Hale. I just ordered 4 more of the series from Kennedy Knives. Does anyone know how many different knives were made for this series? I believe the run was about 1200 each. A decently made knife: good walk and talk, delrin covers. This size Stockman is my ideal.

I enlarged the pic and see the quote, is there anything else on the knife to indicate that it is a Nathan Hale commemorative? Blade etch? Nice knife, sorry, but I don't have any answers for your questions.

Ike, the main blade has the eagle etch and Nathan Hale's name and year of birth and death.

For Throwback Thursday I decided to go with a batoning rope cutter for today's Mandarin slicer and office mate.

Is that a Kephart? Great lines, I really like the blade and handle. Sweet knife.

Cool Remington BFORSE.

Nice EZOs geocash and red rider. Love those.
Thanks I-M. ::handshake:: It has a Kephart style blade and is made by L.T. Wright blades. It makes a great hiking/camping knife ::nod::
