Dan I usually don't carry stag except for special occasions ::shrug::

I have an LF&C Wharncliffe about the same age, and the same size. That size and frame shape is just plain perfect. Despite being about 90 years old, it still sees regular use. I plan to get the cracked up and nearly worn smooth Bakelite handles replaced, however.

Thanks Cody, lately it seems like that's all the knife I need. You're right, it does have some age on it and it walks and talks as if it came off the bench yesterday. They couldn't have got more blade in that thing and I have to feel for it in my pocket to remind myself I'm packing it. And it's pretty.
I hope you can get your covers in order. It's like getting a new knife.
