GSp.....I feel your pain. Obviously this attack was well planned and executed. Fitting ordinance for each target. Not just a little drone attack but a missile with multiple war heads. I also feel your surprise, joy and appreciation. What a gracious bomber and what a gorgeous knife .

The dust is finally settling, I still can't hear or think straight from the concussion. It all started with an innocuous box from Kansas in my mail box...

The return address was from a David, DM11 to be specific.... Inside was this absolutely gorgeous GEC #15 boy's knife, beautiful bone, perfect walk 'n talk, super tight blade, just awesome!

This was about a nice a gesture as one could ever hope for, especially when one considers how near impossible it is to pick up a GEC on the primary market. It is almost impossible to not to have to look for GEC on the secondary market, to get one. So, it was amazing for me to get this "Bomb dropped on me" Many, many, Thanks David!!!

Thanks Mark, I looked at that knife many times, but didn't buy it due to buying other knives instead. You know how that is.

DM11 that is one fabulous bomb bud, cannot say enough about one of my fave patterns and bone. I'd say as good of a replacement for GSPTDs lost Case as there will ever be. Man what great people hang out around here. I can imagine that bomb will be better than Christmas this year GSP. Maybe better than the next ten Christmases.

TMK, sent me a Boker (see top photo) with celluloid scales that are outgassing to use for the shield and spare parts... and he packed another knife in the tightly sealed box as a thoughtful gift .... However ..... It turns out that putting a very good condition, rust free knife in a sealed box with another knife that has outgassing celluloid scales might be a bad idea (see bottom photo) .....
