I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. It now becomes the latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It is a TAIWAN, one blade, two tang stamps, a blade etch, 4 1/4" closed, lockback, pocket knife. The main blade etch says "1886 - 1986" with an image of the torch between the dates. The main blade front tang stamp says "857692" The main blade back tang stamp says "STAINLESS (over) TAIWAN" The main handle side has a Statue Of Liberty scale and also has the 1886 - 1986 dates on it. The scale on the other handle side is missing. Still, it is in EXCELLENT condition. It needed no cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

tnorton wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2024 2:00 am I may have the other scale - funny it was in some of my fathers things and for some reason i kept it - no knife
New_Windsor_NY wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2024 11:38 pm It does look like it would fit. I looked at the same knives on eBay and there are MANY.
They are definitely NOT expensive knives. But, it would be nice to have both scales.
tnorton wrote: Sat Apr 13, 2024 1:46 am i will send it to you message me with address - Clint
A very special THANK YOU goes out to tnorton for sending me the missing scale for this pocket knife. ::tu:: ::tu::
Now, one Statue Of Liberty is gold tone and the other Statue Of Liberty is silver tone. This does NOT bother me.
So.....THANK YOU, tnorton!!🍻 ::handshake::
That's very cool that you & Clint were able to restore that knife together. ::tu:: Now you have a California/Nevada knife. ::nod:: The Golden Staten/The Silver State. ::nod:: ::tu:: ::super_happy::

Corn Creek Cutlery Tony bombed me right back to the stone age today. Double payload bunker busters, shocked the $#@%&/!$#@#% outa me. Blew me awaaaaaaasaaayyyyyyyy. The Spanish Muela with the horn covers is killer. I love love love love love the stuff. Gorgeous colors and I love splotchy patches like this.
The Rose Craft is killer too. Love the dark green covers, like alligator skin color. Great grain. Although the box says gray but not what the material is. Still, its beautiful in hand and I love the blade profile. Love this kind of spear. I can tell the bombardier knew the target preferances well. Guess I've given away my secrets. Thanks again Tony, you made my whole week. So kind and thoughtful. Awesome gesture. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::ds:: ::super_happy:: :mrgreen: ::groove::

This ten-ton bunker-buster landed on me today courtesy of master bombardier knifeaddict1965. This is what happens when you ask a guy to do you a small favor and look for a particular knife for you at a knife show he's going to be at. Not only did he find and get and send me the knife I wanted, he blew my brain clear out of my skull🤯with this incredible Tuna Valley Buffalo Horn Phoenix Jack BOMB ::oh_my:: Unbelievable!!! :shock: ::uc::

Needless to say, I LOVE it! The Phoenix Jack is my favorite Tuna Valley pattern and the Buffalo Horn on this baby is quite striking. My photos really don't do it justice...must be seen IRL to be fully appreciated. But, take my word for it, it's stunning! ::nod::

This is the second time Kevin has bombed me with an amazing knife after I asked him to find me a knife at a show. When will I learn my lesson? ::sneaky::

Another BIG MAHALO to you, Kevin. You Da Man!!! ::super_happy::🤙

Big bomb Q, wow is that a killer. Beautiful blade and I really like the horn. Excellent knifeaddict, you really placed it well and I'd call it a successful strike. Spot on target. ::tu:: ::tu:: :mrgreen:

Glad you like the Queen ACSB Canoe and BH Phoenix Jack, Q... Couldn't have went to a more deserving dude. ::handshake:: IMHO, Tuna Valley knives have some of the most beautiful Buffalo horn and you did a great job bringing out the beauty of the Horn in your pictures.

I learned pretty quickly, that when trading with Q, there is always a good possibility there will be a little extra something in my incoming package, so I would consider this as more of a preemptive strike. ::idea:: I found a good deal on this BHPJ recently and already had one in my collection, so knowing Q's love of Phoenix Jacks, I couldn't resist picking it up to be better prepared for our next trade.

These are the knives I scored in our trade, and sure enough, there was a cool and unusual New Grind mini-T with Smooth Bone handles that was not part of our original trade agreement. After collecting Case knives for 20 years, I feel like I have seen about everything they have offered in the past 50 years, but this is the first single blade Smooth Bone New Grind mini-T I have seen, so I appreciate having this unique knife to add to the collection. And, of course, I love the Scrolled Chestnut Bone with the Horseshoe shield, and the Autumn Bone with the bar shield is even prettier than expected with a bit of an Appaloosa look to it. A big Mahalo for these beautiful knives to add to my ever growing mini-T sub-colleciton. ::ds::

I recently posted a picture of my old beat up 34OT. Toomanyknives (Kerry) asked me if I had a better example. I told him that old beat up one was all I had but it was given to me by an old friend. Well Kerry being Kerry mailed me a 34OT in MUCH better condition and I couldn't be happier. I had been on the hunt for one for a while but just kept carrying my old beat up one. I love the 1095 steel that those good ole USA Shrade used. They get Scary sharp and easily. So another good friend has given me a 34OT (Kerry). Thank you sir!! That was very kind of you!! I will use it and smile on how i got it!! ::handshake:: :) first pic is old beat up one. 2nd pic is the one Kerry gifted me!! ::ds:: ::ds:: :D my picture of it does not do it justice! It is super nice!! :D
