This ten-ton bunker-buster landed on me today courtesy of master bombardier knifeaddict1965. This is what happens when you ask a guy to do you a small favor and look for a particular knife for you at a knife show he's going to be at. Not only did he find and get and send me the knife I wanted, he blew my brain clear out of my skull

with this incredible Tuna Valley Buffalo Horn Phoenix Jack BOMB

Unbelievable!!!
Needless to say, I LOVE it! The Phoenix Jack is my favorite Tuna Valley pattern and the Buffalo Horn on this baby is quite striking. My photos really don't do it justice...must be seen IRL to be fully appreciated. But, take my word for it, it's stunning!
This is the second time Kevin has bombed me with an amazing knife after I asked him to find me a knife at a show. When will I learn my lesson?
Another BIG MAHALO to you, Kevin. You Da Man!!!

Glad you like the Queen ACSB Canoe and BH Phoenix Jack, Q... Couldn't have went to a more deserving dude.

IMHO, Tuna Valley knives have some of the most beautiful Buffalo horn and you did a great job bringing out the beauty of the Horn in your pictures.
I learned pretty quickly, that when trading with Q, there is always a good possibility there will be a little extra something in my incoming package, so I would consider this as more of a preemptive strike.

I found a good deal on this BHPJ recently and already had one in my collection, so knowing Q's love of Phoenix Jacks, I couldn't resist picking it up to be better prepared for our next trade.
These are the knives I scored in our trade, and sure enough, there was a cool and unusual New Grind mini-T with Smooth Bone handles that was not part of our original trade agreement. After collecting Case knives for 20 years, I feel like I have seen about everything they have offered in the past 50 years, but this is the first single blade Smooth Bone New Grind mini-T I have seen, so I appreciate having this unique knife to add to the collection. And, of course, I love the Scrolled Chestnut Bone with the Horseshoe shield, and the Autumn Bone with the bar shield is even prettier than expected with a bit of an Appaloosa look to it. A big Mahalo for these beautiful knives to add to my ever growing mini-T sub-colleciton.
