Just picked this pair up in a bit of trading. Currently working on dating the SAK but the Case is a 1974.

Picked this up at a pawnshop awhile shop a while back, the cross guard was missing and the blade had been poorly sharpened poorly and scratched up. I sent it to Case and $30 later I got it back with a new blade, guards and buffed and cleaned. They did a bang up job!

Very cool Nice blue bone on that one...well worth saving and worth every penny of your $30 investment to fix it up (even though the new blade doesn't have the classic cheetah etch) I'm curious what year date code is on the tang stamp of the replacement blade

A recent eBay find.
When I saw it, I thought it might be ivory
But, no such luck; it's white bone Might could even be Polished Stag. I've owned other H&R knives with it that also resembled ivory

Nice score, can't go wrong for Twenty Bucks. I do love the notches in the covers.

Very nice knife. Like the wood grain.
Knives over here aren’t getting any cheaper either. Some are ridiculously expensive new from sellers . The guys that buy second hand get some deals at times .

Got this little Case fixed blade in , the leather wrapped handles was dry, I gave it a spa treatment and a good cleaning & topped it off with some leather conditioner… Looks so much better, and if it could smile I know it would…
