Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

If I’m correct on my Case history, Case paired the black bone and flag shield in 2002 as a tribute to 9-11. Think there were around seven different patterns in the family. Nice knives by the way, sod buster is always a good carry.

Thanks Elmo,

I wasn't aware of that contact to 9-11. Very cool! I'll try to find out a little more about that. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. ::handshake:: ::super_happy:: Like it even more now! ::super_happy::
The SB Jr. is special for me in my collection. I'm glad I have it. ::tu::

Take care,

What Pattern # is the top one. The smallest one. I like that one the most. Although they are all beauties. :D

Just snagged this 2013 T.B. 822013 Abalone Wharncliffe Trapper, which is now my second most expensive Case knife (after my T.B. 632014 Lockback Wharncliffe Whittler):

And it's worth every penny, IMHO.

CASE sent a replacement Blue Bone Med.stockman for a older 63032 with broken spring . I would rather have a brown bone , black or brown synthetic. It was suggested I contact Case for another or if anyone is interested please send PM or email.

That's a great looking knife, Q. ::tu::

My SMKW goodies showed up already, got a Case 130th Anniversary knife and it came with a free Case knife folder that converts into a display stand. Holds 12 knives of various sizes.

RedRider that's a great deal SMKW has going on! I've always liked the Panama Trapper pattern that Case makes so when I saw this one in the SMKW catalog in dark brown giraffe bone I snapped it up and they sent along the rest of this for free! :D
