Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Great Pick-Ups everyone!
I got a text from my good friend on the Big Island in the middle of the Pacific last week, looking to move a few things to fund a project he is working on. And I must say, ol' Q is fully aware of my weakness for Stag, Mammoth, and Wharncliffes, as I ended up buying everything he was looking to move. Man, if I keep this up, I'm gonna have to go back to work full time to fund my addiction.
The first four pics are the beautiful knives I purchased, and the last picture has the extra Schatt & Kershaw "Bombs" that were not part of the original deal but greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for all these beauties, brother! I assure you, they will be cherished for many years to come. And you can also be sure that I will be hunting extra hard for those elusive ACSBs to add to that sub-collection when I attend another show in two weeks.

Thanks Mark! That is a great compliment coming from someone with such impeccable taste in knives as yourself.

I'm hoping to get a group shot of my barbed wire bones with one of your beautiful Moki SFOs in the Sub-Collection thread later tonight.

Thanks Tony! I just throw my white piece of fabric on the bed and spread a white sheet between the bed and the lights above to soften the light and knock down the glare. I've thought about spicing it up like several of you guys but haven't figured out a good canvas yet.Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 1:32 amYour photos have Excellent++ lighting, and show subject detail very very well. Yes, that was part of the deal...apparently you did read the fine print. And don't forget the part about unlimited, unannounced and unsupervised visitation rights if I ever start missing my "babies"knifeaddict1965 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:24 pm I will be hunting extra hard for those elusive ACSBs to add to that sub-collection when I attend another show in two weeks.![]()

I received a totally unexpected package in the mail yesterday with this...
Parker Benchmade Top Lock In Wood From 'Q"
Can't thank you enough for this volcanic gesture 'Q' !! I did not have one of these in my collection.
I almost bought one a while back, but had my eye on something else at the time. How did you know? Many thanks again!!

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Got my German Creek Knives “The Nashville” today.
I only have one complaint, the blade markings. The left main blade, show side, is stamped “Nashville Tennessee” with a guitar between the words and 440 Stainless on the pile side. The right main blade is stamped “German Creek” with a buck’s head between the words. Neither small blade is stamped. With no stated country of origin , those in the know realize the knife is imported. All the other brands I mentioned above stamp “Made in China” on their knives. I wish German Creek would do the same.
To be clear, I am not disappointed in the knife in any way, just with the lack of a country-of-origin stamp. Sorry for the OCD rant!
*Just discovered my Imperial Schrade dogleg jack IMP42 has the same "problem". Discovered when I was putting the German Creek Congress in a storage folder. (7:45 PM)
I must say I’m pleasantly surprised. The knife is on par with Rough Rider, Roper, Frost Family, Marbles or Queen City. Fit and finish is very good, 440 stainless blades, nice brown smooth bone. The blades have good half stops and nice match striker nail nicks and very nice walk and talk.I only have one complaint, the blade markings. The left main blade, show side, is stamped “Nashville Tennessee” with a guitar between the words and 440 Stainless on the pile side.
