Kris. Perhaps doglegg isn't set-up to post pics, perhaps he doesn't own 3,000,000 knives to show like some do, perhaps he's just a lonely guy who derives his pleasures from commenting on other's posts, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...! The point being, he's a member here and has the right to comment and post pics, or not, and for you to be rude to him goes against everything this forum is about. I think we should all be grateful for any comments we receive, since the alternative is pretty bleak, no comments. This forum wouldn't last long if nobody commented on our posts, and all we'd be left with would be one of the less friendly forums. Live and let live, I say! 8)

Not cool ::td::
If anyone here is pretentious about showing their knives, it's you !
Almost every post you make is another custom build, often with a custom sheath to match.
Rarely do you show an 'off-the-shelf' knife.

Pretentious .... what the hell man ::sot::

I decided to do away with my smartphone for a few weeks. There was a recent hearing I watched on TV sometime ago, and what the developers of the code used in those devices admitted to doing (in other words, intentionally making them addictive) made me decided to just turn it off and go back to a more basic phone--i.e. the flip phone my grandparents have, but rarely use. I love flip phones, but good ones are rare. Those prepaid carriers offer are crap, the Kyocera DuraXE is great, but they no longer make it. That's why I had to buy a DuraForce Pro 2. The DuraXE's camera isn't great, but using default settings, I get pictures that rarely exceed the limits for forum uploads, and it ain't a brick in my pocket. The phone/first aid/small folding saw pouch (marked as being a flashbang pouch) on my military surplus backpack holds it well (it was bought for my old phone, a Samsung Rugby 4).

I'm gonna have to get myself a good pocket "point and shoot" digital camera again. I had really banged up my old Fujifilm. Thinking about a used Canon. A full-on pro camera like a Rebel or something like that is overkill. Found a $60 Kodak at WallyWorld that ought to work for my uses (forum photos mostly).

I carried a Victorinox Gardener/Florist and a Spyderco Roadie today.

Totally uncalled for, inappropriate and, quite frankly, offensive & rude (not to mention entirely untrue...doglegg posts plenty of pictures...maybe you should try reading some threads other than only the ones you post in yourself). ::td:: :x

As my Mom used to say: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Personally, I appreciate Floyd's comments which, BTW, are always positive, never derogatory.

I think an apology is in order. ::disgust::

Just ignore it Floyd. Maybe he took your comment the wrong way. It wasn't ok what He said, but I have said a few things in my life that I later regretted. It happens sometimes. Who knows, we all have a bad day once in a while.

Anyways, I post a lot of comments & only a few pictures here also because I only change my EDC's once a week so we're in the same boat my friend. I really enjoy & appreciate your comments Buddy! As does everyone else! ::nod:: ::tu:: ::super_happy::

I appreciate your participation, doglegg & I admire your respect for others. As a matter of fact, I think there are lots & lots of good folks on this site who unselfishly make it so enjoyable. The one exception is nothing to be concerned about. I still admire his knives but just ignore the offensive comments.

Today I was carrying my non-permanently-modified Spydie Anso, it was a lite duty day and only ended up opening some packages.

Thanks for the reminder also. I had wanted to buy one of those glass fishing net floaters a while back but then forgot all about em. Now that you jogged my memory, I can look for them again. ::nod::
