I really like the Barlow pattern and even though one is a variant; I didn’t have a yellow knife and I do like beer. It was kind of a no brainer. It is a very nice knife. Fit and finish are really good, nice half stops and good blade snap on both blades. I recently learned that the point on the cap lifter was designed to pierce beer cans for “shotgunning”. I’m too old for that![]()

It’s a good looking knife, GT. Good shade of yellow. Not a “in your face” shade.

Those sure are special daggers, Tony, I've had my copy for quite awhile and never get tired of looking at it's gorgeous lines. I am certainly not complaining, but I wish they'd been built about 1" longer, cuz when I hold mine, my closed hand completely encompasses the handle, with no pommel sticking out from my hand and feels a bit awkward. I'd subtract only a couple of points for that minor design flaw, IMO.

Thank you Mark, and I agree about it being 1" longer, but I am not going to use it anyway. We do have a lot of the same knives or types of knives in our possession. Congrats on having one also!Madmarco wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 6:28 pm Those sure are special daggers, Tony, I've had my copy for quite awhile and never get tired of looking at it's gorgeous lines. This beautiful knife did come in the mail, granted it was mail delivered 2 yrs. ago, but the mail nonetheless, so technically I'm allowed to post it here, right? After viewing it I'm sure you will understand why I just wanted to show it off again!
Parker 9" lockback with a 4" Tanto blade and a long-pull.
NS bolsters with brass liners and pins.
Blue/brown dyed bone covers.
Heavy in-hand, feels great.
Smooth walk n' talk.
Made in Japan.
If my posting this here in MC is a problem for anyone, kindly move it to it's correct topic, I'd do it myself upon request, but I don't know how to do that!
