Bought a box of “junk knives“ to try to “rehab/remodel“. The hawkbill is a Klein Tools Made in USA liner lock. I think it will clean up nicely, not sure about the “Stan Paki Custom” lockback. I do have plans for the little clippoint “patch knife”. And I’ll figure out something' to do with the non-descript “fish/bait knife”. These are the before pictures. I’ll post after shots as they become available.

This just in. A 2012 harness Jack (teamsters jack) I picked up for $99 at the April 2024 OKCA show in Eugene OR. New, unused in the tube. Couldn't believe there was a GEC out there for that price. So I jumped on it. But the covers left me wanting. Now here it is with original flat red bone scales beside it and with Glennbad mod dyed antler scales on it. Amaaaaaaazing looking to me now. Took ugly Betty and made it miss America/beauty padgent winner. Can't say enough about Glennbad's dye work, the craftsmanship, and the look of it now. Blown away Glen, hope you're seeing this, because I am thrilled with this thing. I would have never showed this off before, was one of my least fave bone colors I own. Now it's one of the best looking knives I own, as good or better than any custom or production knife I own. Top show piece extraordinaire. I'm really stunned at the beauty. No sun here today so the pics are not deserving of this beauty, but when it next comes out there will be better pics coming. Still, even in cloudy light, it looks fabulous. Glennbad, you just made my knife world a ton better, up there with the prettiest knives I have seen. Loooooooove what you have done over and over again for all of us lucky enough to have one of your works of art. Thanks, thanks, thanks again and wow what an improvement. Glennbad rocks again and if you ever get the chance to get one, don't delay, get it. Will be a crown jewel of your collection. God bless Glen the man. Woooooooooowwweeeeeeeee. ::not_worthy:: ::not_worthy::  ::mdm::

I love red handled knife but those handles by Glennbad are beautiful!
I've never had the pleasure of owning a harness jack. Would have been a handy carry many years ago. ::hmm::

Bear & Sons Beer Tender Light
Bear & Sons Beer Tender Light
I really like the Barlow pattern and even though one is a variant; I didn’t have a yellow knife and I do like beer. It was kind of a no brainer. It is a very nice knife. Fit and finish are really good, nice half stops and good blade snap on both blades. I recently learned that the point on the cap lifter was designed to pierce beer cans for “shotgunning”. I’m too old for that 💩‼️
