Thanks BH! ::handshake:: Here's a better shot of the tang. I think this is the earliest stamp I've ever seen on a traditional folder. The lettering is just SICK! :shock:

I won the auction for this Ontario Knife Company Easy Open "Old Hickory" slim trapper off of e-bay yesterday. Just paid for it last night and won't see it until next week - attached are a couple of the sellers pictures; no mention of these knives on the Ontario Knife website - what can anyone tell me about these knives? It looks like Delrin handles and stainless steel construction. I see a fair number of shell handled knives of this style by Colonial offered on e-bay, did OK make this one or did they sub it out to Colonial (or another company)? Thanks for any and all info!

IMO...they were best known for their skinning knives. 8)

UPDATE......I forgot. :oops: ....Its Ontario Knives....that’s why it looks like a Queen....SORRY Fella's. :(

I can't remember which member got it. :oops:

I think knives with synthetic scales are the best for EDC'n.....less worry if you accidentally drop it. ::nod::

Camillus, my first in an EO with ebony handles
and a mystery cell, I know it's old and it comes from a cutlery company but that's it!
