Opens like a speedsafe, solid lockup. Lock is a little tricky to release.

Pretty happy with this little Jack. I got to pick from several and I think this was the best.

Kevin those are gorgeous knives. The Moki Ares is “the” knife that moved me from being a casual buyer of pocket knives to a collector. Those are so well made and the fit and finish is better than any knife I had up to that time. Just lit a fuse in me that still burns to this day. The others are all really nice too.

I picked this one up recently to add to my Congress collection. Parts from Queen made by Wendell Carson. Magnificent pearl on both sides. The liners are coined and the backsprings have file work on them. Fit and finish is impeccable. No blade rub, which is almost unseen on a four bladed knife. Blue steel blades. Just so much to like on this knife.

Thanks Mark! I have four Moki's now, and they are all perfect. My first was the barbed wire ANZ-533 I was fortunate enough to win from you in one of the monthly giveaways ::handshake:: and I also have one of your Lapis Blue Aberdeen 433s. Never really heard much about these knives until I started seeing all the beauties you were posting, so I guess I can blame my Moki addiction on you.

That Wendell Carson Pearl Congress is amazing! ::oh_my:: The Fiery pearl, filework, and that blade combination are very cool. I was just watching a Mammoth Ivory Wendell Carson 3 blade Congress that ended a few minutes ago on eBay. I didn't pull the trigger on it, but thought it was funny that I was just watching one before I read your post.

I was a bidder on that one too Kevin, It’ went well beyond where I was hoping to buy it at. Worth every penny the seller got for it.

Thanks Wade. It's my 3rd Moki and they are all spectacular. This bone has a fire and translucency I really dig.

Hey Rick, the Moki is Red Bone and I picked it up in an auction. I believe this is an earlier pattern that was made several years ago (2007 I think), so you would probably need to find one online or in an auction. I see there is one currently listed on the bay and have attached the link and a picture if you are interested.

BTW, your ACSB is beautiful. I have the ACSB MK-533ANZ KRONOS and it is one of my favorites.

Wow Q, that is a beauty! ::tu:: My first love is Stag and it's also hard to beat a nice slab of Ivory, but I will agree the ACSB on that Teardrop sure does look amazing.

Mahalo Kevin & Floyd :D

Ever since Ivoryman sent me that Queen ACSB #06L he got from the OKCA show, OCD Monkey has been fixated on the Tear Drop pattern. Consequently, I was forced to buy him this one that he found which has been modified with stag just to quiet his constant crying, screaming and shrieking! ::mdm::

I'm sure he'll insist that I post more pics in any and all appropriate threads for maximum exposure (little show off )
