Not going to sell it, I thought it was unusual, at least around here they are

not something I have ever seen much of in this part of the country.
I am going to have to check it and see if it is stamped with any name
Thanks for the info
Here are a couple old cap guns, the machine gun one is neat, it takes a handle that you insert into the side and hold the gun with one hand and turn the crank with the other to rapidly fire off the caps

Only problem is I do not have the hand crank

That machine gun is really cool. I think it was made by Kilgore.

Just Googled that name and came up with this web site.
http://www.nicholscapguns.com/kilgore.htm
Scroll down a little bit, looks like this is a rare one
Kilgore, of Westerville, Ohio, was DEFINITELY one of the largest sellers of toy Cap Guns in the old days. They made a lot of quality cap guns and also made a lot of the roll caps. Uncle Talley assisted them in modernizing their equipment that made the roll caps and thus made it more profitable for everybody. Their line of Cap Guns will always remain in the top of the brands that are desirable to collect.
We may as well start out with something really weird and that is this Kilgore machine gun (pistol). I have never seen one of these and since it is being added to this website rather late in the game, then it must be reasonably rare.

Looks like I better get out the Steel Wool and buff it up

Those are some real nice old cap guns.

Some of them rotted away since the powder in some of the caps was pretty corrosive to the lower quality metals used to make them. Lets face it. Who ever cleaned their cap gun and oiled it when they were done with it. It's amazing what pops up on here.

Here's one I posted a long time ago. It's a "Super-Numatic Paper Buster" gun. Uses rolls of plain paper to make the cap gun sound, BANG!!

I lived in Lake Havasu City Arizona till I was eight. I wish I could go back and bask in the sun again. England is just too damp and rainy.

Believe it or not, it was HOTTER in OKC and Tulsa than it was here today.
I keep reminding myself I'm NOT gonna bitch about the heat after last winter.

Blizzard of 2 Feb. 2011.
Joe. Last winter, you guys in the northeast had it worse than we did. Seems like the news was always talking about heavy snowfall and blizzards up your way.

Jerry,
from my experience we had a snowfall of about 16 or 18 inches at one time. That was the most I had seen since leaving Spokane 30 years ago. That amount wasn't uncommon in Spokane.
