Cool "Leg", Kim!
I saw a post yesterday of a leg knife that was a full 9" open, and it was a first for me, I've only ever seen the mini's.
I too own knives I feel I overpaid for, but they are mine now and their beauty and quality will far outlive the memory of their cost.
Of course I like your RPK also!

Your photo shows it better than the one on the Moore Maker web site. I've been eyeing it for awhile....I should just order it.

Thanks! I'd love to see the 9" leg knife, was it on here?

Wise words about rationalizing the cost of a knife, from one addict to another.
I thought the "leg" was in this thread, but I checked back 5 pages and didn't see it so it must have been elsewhere. It looked exactly the same as yours on screen cuz it wasn't scaled with anything, I only knew about the length cuz the poster sated 5" body/4" blade.

Wise maybe, true definitely!

Kimzilla wrote: Sat Aug 12, 2023 2:22 am Oh boy, I was only kidding about the foreigner thing and you probably never seeing that movie! Geez, you have to watch it then, it's a classic!

Question: is your maple syrup really that awesome? Also, do Canadians constantly say "sorry, so sorry" even when they're not in the wrong?

My Grandmother was originally from Canada and moved to the U.S. as a young adult, so does that make me part Canadian???? I've got nothin but love for Canadians.
I know you were kidding, Kim, so was I, ::handshake:: believe me, you'll know it when I'm pissed and not joking! lol! I'll definitely have to catch that movie, too! ::groove::

In a word, "YES", our Maple syrup IS really that awesome! ::ds:: At US$129.99/oz. it should be! ::facepalm:: Just kidding bout' that price, but the stuff is quite costly and mostly used as a Sunday morning treat on our pancakes. If you've never tried it be sure you do at some point, you definitely won't be disappointed, but it will totally spoil you for Aunt Jemima, Mrs. Butterworth's, or any of the others! ::hmm::

What you call "constantly saying sorry, so sorry" eh, we call being polite, eh! Not to worry, my dear, we can get down with the best of them when necessary, eh! lol!

Your Grandmother is/was a smart woman, wish I'd have been smart enough to get out young, but I'm afraid "No", that doesn't make you part Canadian, :( Canadian is a nationality determined by where one was born no matter what part of the world one is in, I think, eh! If I was fortunate enough to be living in California I'd still be a Canadian living in California, I think, eh! That's how I understand it anyway! ::shrug::

We have hi-jacked this and other threads with our side-bar conversations, and since this is suppose to be about recently acquired knives we've received in the mail we need to cease doing so, and I'm guilty of doing this a fair amount, so any further conversations not relating to knives should be conducted via PM or email so as to not upset administration and/or other members.
This is my fault since you're relatively new here and don't know the rules just yet, so don't feel badly we'll just have to switch formats, eh!

Oh, BTW, I've got nothing but love for Canadians too! lol!
8), eh!
