Well worth the fall off the wagon!

I got a new knife in the mail this morning. Oscar gave it a great recommendation, and I now understand why. More of these will be added, I'm sure.

I'm being lazy about posting my new knives, so I've got to change that now!
This came via ebay auction, and me being the only bidder it came at a great price.
I must admit I'm stumped regarding it's origins. In the description it was called an "Antique Kaufmann", yet it displays modern day advertising on the cover that reads, "POWELL RIVER-ALBERNI" which is a city in British Columbia on Canada's west coast. This seems like an awfully long stretch to antique to me, what do you guys think? It was described as being made prior to 1960.
It's an 8" oal slip-joint with a SS spear-point blade, SS threaded bolsters liners and pins, and dark brown exotic wood covers.
Front tang stamp reads, "KAUFMANN/GERMANY", and the rear tang reads "SOLINGEN".
It's a very well made folder that feels great in my hand, and since it's origins mean little to me I'll just enjoy it, but it would be nice to know to satisfy my curiosity! ::shrug::

Here's a new one I got in the mail today.
The RoseCraft Blades Appalachian Jack RCT003. Company Description: "One-Bladed Slip Joint. 3.3” D2 Clip Point Blade. Half-Stop. Brushed Satin Finish. Micarta Covers. Steel Liners. Nickel Silver Pins. Nickel Silver Rosebud Shield. Brushed Steel Bolsters. Steel Pry Tip. 4.4” Closed. 7.7” Overall (Including Pry Tip). Designer: Andy Armstrong." Also came with a RoseCraft sticker and challenge coin.

Very nice knife but the weight makes it at sheath or blue jean knife and not you Sunday morning slacks.
