Thanks David, everyone should have the pleasure of a carrying a slipjoint from Tony Bose. I also have the pleasure of carrying and using a drop point from Bob Loveless.

Carrying this Zulu spear that the talented Johnny Stout made for me. ABS Master Smith Jon Christensen forged the mosaic feather damascus blade, Mike Tyre forged the feather damascus bolsters, really nice Sambar stag.

A Schrade 7OT. I love this knife as much as any Buck 110 I have. It is a good 'Ol work horse and has been the doom of many a box and quite a few feet of rope.

I like you Weatern fixed blade! Great knives, great steel! :)
Thanks! I must have 5 or 6 Western fixed blades, L39, W36, L88 etc. I guess I need to check all my shoe boxes and drawers and get a good count ::skeptic:: I love them and when I see a deal on one I can't resist adding another to the "pile". ::nod::

Wow!!! That is really a work of art! I have a few Damascus fixed blades from a maker in Alabama and they have good patterns but that Zulu spear is really in a class by itself! ::tu:: Thanks for the photo!!! ::tu::

I also love the L39! ::tu:: That is a great size for "out in the field" all day and hiking around with solid but lighter weight fix blade. ::tu::

Old Robeson from early 20th century. Seven year old Tidoute. Like the Robe bones and the way the Tidioute looks about as old. Two gems

Carrying a couple of Sears Craftman knives today on my birthday. I can’t believe I didn’t appreciate these knives when I was younger and was at Sears almost every weekend with my dad.

Good looking pair, bet they were very reasonably priced when new back in the 70s. Know who made them for Sears? Looks like Schrade to me.

Woodwalker, that one is pretty good looking as well. Love the saw cut bones from back then.
