Nice trio of Schrades, Paul. That Shapleigh was probably made by Schrade. ::tu::

Cool Cases too, David & geo. ::tu:: ::tu::

Tom: I bought this knife in a zip lock bag full of junk knives and seen its potential. It was missing the scales on one side and the master was worn down to a nub. I sent it off to Ed Landers one of our very own AAPK members and he worked his magic on the old girl. He put a set of scales on one side of it with a parts knife he had and put a master on it from a parts knife and a shield on it from a parts knife and made it what it is today. I enjoy carrying it from time to time as it reminds me of Ed and how wonderful our members are here.

It's saying something! It speaks to my knifers heart so to speak. Must have a strong possative energy to it. Is the shield a BSA shield? ::shrug:: It looks great but my eyes can't make out the fine details. ::dang::

I actually just passed on one of those because I swore it was a later SMKW-related import. Now I"m sorta regretting it, after just the opposite is confirmed. Albeit, this one was based on the Woodcraft.

I think the seller still has one, so I'd better grab it.
