Re: My latest Schrade
Some Jeffinn bones and canvas on a couple old Schrades came in. Love these two immediately. Little strop, little oil, little pocket time immediately.

Thanks doglegg, appreciate the mention. Here's the same two with a couple more Jeffinn mods. Love the bones and the micarta. And the 8OT and 33OT patterns.

Re: My latest Schrade
Gorgeous green GSPTD, that mottled look always gets me. Great dark jade like coloring, love it. Congrats. No surprise either, every one of the half dozen of so I've handled were perfect. I can't say enough about this one too. Had it out for a couple more shots. Really impressive perfect transitions, the bolster fluting, the finishing and re-assembly. Believe he replaced the main as it looks pristine and unsused, I think factory edge. And it shaves. Also way better than when it left the Schrade factory with these covers that Schrade never did. Jeffinn rocks. Absolutely fabulous knives. Thanks again Jeff. Everybody else should check them out before they're gone.

Those scales are so much better than the factory ones... Derlin is OK...

Re: My latest Schrade
One of my latest I picked up about a month or so ago. Just now getting around to posting it. A Schrade 863. For all intents and purposes, other than some age spots on the blades it is like new. Blades are tight with great snap, no play or wobble.

It's great seeing you back, Smitty,
I was hoping you were on an extended vacation and not laid-up ill or something like that!
And of course, nice knives you've posted over the past couple days, buddy!

Thanks Marc
Appreciate it I-man. You know, many years ago I wasn't that fond of yellow synthetic handles, but here in the last 10 or 15 years they have kind of grown on me.

Amen to that. Did not used to like yellow Delrin, the washed out pale hue. But it's growing on me, now I appreciate the understated and subtle look. I've always liked the rich vibrant or deep yellow and yours is good like that.
