I am pretty new to the forum, and have been watching/reading/learning as I go. I've become "sucked in" to collecting knives more than I would have expected, and so have a few knives already . Some I haven't carried, but others are in a sort of rotation. Today I'm carrying a knife that I made from a Rough Rider kit. It was fun (and interesting without any jigs or fixtures for the assembly!), and it's a project where I'm learning to properly sharpen a knife as well. Im getting better, but still a long ways from "razor sharp"!

Great job! I'm sure the only thing I'd do with one of those is make a mess. I 've been looking at getting one to learn how a knife is put together, and have something actually usable once I'm done--not like those all-wood, or all-plastic kits that basically just make toys or decorative items instead of real usable knives.

I'm on my second Timex Expedition. Had my first YEARS ago. When it died, I knew I had to get another Expedition.
My first watch, back in the mid 70s, was a Timex. It's the only brand I'll buy for my EDC (every day casual )
