I'm glad you were able to land one you've wanted since 2009 Mark. Do you have a copy of EVERY Club knife since the beginning, and I assume this new knife fills the 2009 spot, does that bring the set up to date? Thx bud!

Far from it Mark. I have about 5 of them, 2 I purchased from other members and 3 that I acquired after I joined in 2017 or 2018, I forget when I formally joined. I lurked around for a awhile before I joined. This is the first one I have gotten off of eBay. They usually go for a lot more. Don’t know why this one went as low as it did? Just glad I was in the right place at the right time. From what I have seen of all the club knives this one is the one that really got my attention.

Thanks for the info buddy! I was gonna keep an eye out for the years you don't have, but if you say that knife was the only one that really grabbed you, I won't bother. According to your avatar info you joined AAPK on July 15th, 2018.

I’m a huge fan of the Buck 110 as I’m sure everyone here is. That’s why I’m excited about the Ranger Longhorn I picked up. Seems like a good solid knife. Definitely a familiar shape. The fit and finish is a little rough considering the scales and liners aren’t rounded off on the back, but definitely solid. Does anyone know if removing the scales is any different from the 110? I’m interested in putting on some nice hardwood scales to replace the Bakelite.

Hey BladeLuv!
to AAPK!
I can't help answering your questions, but someone with Buck knowledge will see this eventually and perhaps have some info for you. My favorite Buck is the 501, I just think they look better with the drop-point blade as opposed to the usual clip-point! IMHO!

thanks for the compliment, yes Jeff does really nice work, and yes I got a Long Horn version of the Parker a few weeks ago, I have a total of 8 Xmas Parkers, 2 Beaver Tail, a long horn, 2 bandits, a bullet and a saturday night special all same handle material, I guess I'm drawling to them.

Got a deal on it, in my opinion. Guess I'm just weak, can't pass up the price, $75 with free shipping from bladeops.

Nice knives Ken, I have come close to buying that AG hunters scalpel a few times but haven't pulled the trigger. What are your thoughts on it?

So far, I like it. I touched up the edge on my ceramic stone and it easily shaved a bit of my forearm. For a fixed blade it's a tiny little thing, but the 2-3/16" blade is comparable to many pocket knives. Comes with a locking sheath and chain so I'm going to try it as a neck knife for a while.
