Nice Mark, I’m going to check my account and see if I have a “Bank error in your favor” in my account tooMadmarco wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 1:19 am It's been awhile since I posted any new knives and I've really been jones'n to post one, so I checked my bank account and found $20. in there, so I went on the hunt for something inexpensive with free shipping and found this at Amazon with those specifications. It works out well cuz I wanted a balisong represented in my collection but could never find any with dagger blades that would ship to Canada, until now! 8)WIN_20221007_17_48_46_Pro.jpgWIN_20221007_17_50_05_Pro.jpg

Thanks edge

Thanks ~Q~! I totally agree with your assessment that the configuration of my new knife "just looks right", I do not feel the same about a clip-point or drop-point on a balisong. I actually got the dagger style blade from the James Bond movie "Casino Royale" when Bond crashed his car to avoid running over his leading lady who was tied-up in the middle of the road, and one of the villains pulled him from the wreck and then cut out a tracking devise that "M" had installed in his arm to keep an eye on him, with a gorgeous balisong that had a shiny dagger blade, and I've never forgotten that knife, so when I saw that similar one at that price, well, you know! The reviews on Amazon were all very positive with many of the one's from Canada saying, "if you want one you better act fast cuz they're illegal here in Canada and Amazon will drop the listing soon". I've seen the odd auto listed on Amazon.ca but they rarely are listed for long. And lastly, no, I cannot open my knife with nunchuck-type motion, nor do I wish to learn how at this stage of the game, I'm happy if I can just open it normally and not cut myself! LOL!

Thanks Jamie! It wasn't actually a bank error, I just thought I was broke, but when I checked the $20. was there. I wish it was an error for $200. cuz then I could look for something a bit nicer and not need to worry about free shipping!JamieinWV wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 2:02 pmNice Mark, I’m going to check my account and see if I have a “Bank error in your favor” in my account tooMadmarco wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 1:19 am It's been awhile since I posted any new knives and I've really been jones'n to post one, so I checked my bank account and found $20. in there, so I went on the hunt for something inexpensive with free shipping and found this at Amazon with those specifications. Great score Nick, and kudos to JP for his generosity!CluelessNick wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 2:50 pm Received this really nice Case Trapper in the mail this morning that I bought from Ripster. It is in really great shape and was priced right for me. He also threw in a beautiful little Colonial with brass tip bolsters that Maybe has me more excited than the Case. I do love old Colonials. Thanks JP nice surprise there.

Fascinating detail, Marco. Of course, my favorite "Bond character" would have to be...yes, you guessed it: "Q".Madmarco wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 8:18 pm I actually got the dagger style blade from the James Bond movie "Casino Royale" when Bond crashed his car to avoid running over his leading lady who was tied-up in the middle of the road, and one of the villains pulled him from the wreck and then cut out a tracking devise that "M" had installed in his arm to keep an eye on him, with a gorgeous balisong that had a shiny dagger blade.
