Score Jerry, congrats. That is some great barnboard on the pile. Good color and texture. Beauty.

Great looking Browning Q. And the Kroo, wow is that a beauty. Congrats both of ya.

Wadsworth and Sons, Germany. Liked the bones and the solid little frame and will go fine as a secondary. First Wadsworth and am impressed.
Nice pick up!! Great look about it

Thanks and I appreciate that. Glad you like too, it has pretty good bone. No cracks I can see either. Great on an oldie. Thanks again.

These arrived today from SSK (Sharpnshinyknives). Both Solingen made. The Henkels Congress was made by Boker; so too the gray boned Canoe. On the red-rope jigged Congress all 4 blades have half stops. It is good to see these nicely crafted knives are still being produced at a reasonable price.

Two beauties Garry. Love that red rope jigged bone that Henckels used. That gray canoe is also a great looking knife.

I clicked on a picture the other day on Ebay when I saw this knife. I always liked seahorse whittlers and this cinnamon bone stag that RR used is exceptional. This has split backsprings and even has black spacers all around the stag. Pinched and fluted bolsters. Carbon steel blades. You get a lot of bang for the price.

It's becoming very hard finding fault with these Rough Rider knives, specially when they're producing models like yours Mark! They're not my focus for collecting but the few I own are well built attractive knives. Beautiful little whittler! 8)

Thanks tvic and Mark. For the money I paid, I might just use this one to see how it holds up. It’s a nice looking knife and it’s not a nail breaker like a lot of seahorse whittlers, which makes it a possible EDC for me.

The full-size 5" closed Colonial Folding Hunter lockback.

I took advantage of an individual seller's "$10 off any order to the first five customers" discount, and it ended up being $8 with shipping (the original cost was $13 without the shipping).

It has a rusty rocker spring (thus, they likely made it out of carbon steel, not stainless), rusty insides, and a really dirty, dull blade. However, it still locks up well with no wobble. Once cleaned up, I'm carrying it fishing.
