You fellas carry some cool stuff....picked this at a flea a couple weeks ago and was gonna toss it in a "junk parts" lot on ebay, but
foir some reason the scales wouldn't let me. Even though both blades are broke, she's a fine EDC!!!

Scott that one does have outstanding scales on it! Schrade made some of the most beautiful scales ever seen on earth IMO. You could have the blades reformed. The main blade retipped or turned into a Wharncliffe & the secondary could be a small punch type blade.

Be an even cooler EDC then. Actually it would be an awesome HOK with reformed blades & what a great pair of scales you would "save" from certain destruction.
I find those scales are breathtaking!

I'm a recent convert to that pattern, even though I have only one (dot-era red bone, another of Scott's finds from his suburban missions) and I usually prefer my serpentine jacks to be a little beefier. It does make a great watch pocket slicer with more to grip for my oversized meatpaws than a p-nut or a 33, both patterns I have collected. Yours looks very minty, kudos on totin' it.

Great old bones. That is prime pocket cutlery. Grind a point onto the master, maybe round the pen off into a short sheepsfoot and you're ready to roll.

Two great knives! Is the S&M built on the Queen 20 large toothpick frame, the 119½ medium (4¼") toothpick frame, or "other"?

Something great about a yeller 99. I can see the lure of that 31, too.

The S&M #5 looks an awful lot like Queen's #20. They are both 5" long.
Here is that S&M #5 with a Queen #20 below it. At the bottom is a Queen #112 1/2 which is 4 1/4" long. Whatever "other" is, I don't have one of those but I wish I did.
