Thanks buddy! I don't know that the builders have upped their game so much as it being an auto! You see these fileworked Pakistani knives all over the place, but it being an auto is out of the norm, not totally unheard of but few and far between that's for sure! The thing that attracted me most was that in the listing it said "Ships from Canada", which led me to believe things are changing up here regarding autos, but no such luck! All the details are in "Comfort Knives"!

I spotted it in one of his recent piles he had acquired.
The tang stamp is about gone but with magnification it is obviously from the 1958-60 era. It has imitation Winterbottom handles. It still walks and talks.

As for my fishing, the line is still in the water. I may need to reel it in, take the $10 off the hook, and replace it with a $20 to catch my intended target.

I got an Imperial fish knife in today. Though it's not perfect, it still looks pretty all right to me. I believe it still has a factory edge.
