Tsar Bomba wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 6:48 pm Been a while, folks. This coronavirus thing has really put a dent in life, huh?
I was collecting EDC photos while I was away, then got stuck in a quarantine, then got downsized, then blah blah blah. Anyway, not much time lately for knife things.
I still have photos to post from the POS roundtable that happened a lifetime ago, and I will get around to that this week as I have time. In the meanwhile I figured I'd post some of the photos I took before everything went to you-know-what.
P.S. I'm going to be unloading some GECs and Cases privately. I won't be able to post them here unfortunately because I let my gold subscription lapse, but I'd like to bypass the Evil Ebay Empire if possible. If anyone is interested in an uncarried/unused #46 Whaler in Muscle Bone, or some others that I will be reluctantly letting go, feel free to contact me.
Nice EDC's, especially that last pair! Nice!

Thanks, TPK!
Been a while since I pocketed the #1 so I remedied that today.

I thought you might notice that, Steve. Thanks.
You're right about the brand. I was surprised to find a model GTO that so closely resembles the real one I had. The model lacked a black vinyl top & it had white-lettered tires, both of which I fixed with a Sharpie.

Johnny Lightning does a great job of matching paint on their models to the factory paint used on the originals. That was the giveaway for being a Johnny Lightning.

Sorry, no pictures. Only muscle car I ever had. And after it got smashed, I was back in a VW. But it had a big advantage during the 1973 oil embargo.Steve Warden wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 12:11 pmLooks great. Had this knife with me a lot during quarantine. The blade selection makes it useful in a whole lot of ways, especially the type of punch GEC chose. Pocketed it again today.
The bolsters need a polishing but I don't mind. This one has become a valued user and it cuts like the dickens.

I know all y'all have just been sittin' around on one cheek and then the other, wondering if JerryD is still carrying that Whitebuffalo58 Franken-72. Yep! Hasn't been out of my pocket since Rob sent it to me.
