Thank you Iman.
Q, no need to be embarrassed about that knife. Love smooth white bone and that whittler pattern is one of my favorites. I’ll have to keep an eye open for that brand, never heard of it before.

I had the exact same sentiment ~Q~ when I posted that knife from China today, but, it came in the mail and this IS Mail Call so what the heck! You on the other hand have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about, you posted a beautiful knife with your favorite blade, which BTW looks teriffic! Well, at least we're modest!QTCut5 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 1:01 am Almost embarrassed to show this one here after all the nice cutlery you guys are posting. But, since it is my latest pick up, here it is.

I really must slow down, I'm having trouble keeping track of what knives I've posted! This one is a little more respectable than my last posted knife and it comes by way of an ebay auction win, and since I was the only bidder I got it for a song!
An 8" oal Toledo slip-joint that was described as a Navaja likely due to the blade shape, with SS hardware that's beginning to show patina and faux stag covers!

Great additions everyone!
My two newest additions are a Contento & a Colonial advertising knives.
The Contento is nothing to brag about so it's good that it was only around $4 shipped.
The Colonial however is of very nice craftmanship. It has seen some light use but is overall in good condition. Good snap & no wobble. This is my first Colonial knife & I am very happy to be able to add this American brand to my collection. This is the first Colonial knife I have ever seen for sale over here & I probably paid a little too much for it but as I said, these are scarce here so I went all in to get it.
Thanks for looking friends!

A coworker gifted me this 1990 Case 63087 yesterday. He said he had it over 30 years and it just sits in his drawer. He said, I know how much you like pocket knives so I want you to have it. Great guy! First case knife I own with the actual date stamped on the tang. Read they put the date on 1990 to mid 1993. Pretty cool and I'm a happy guy. Now to pick him out one from my accumulation to gift him in return!

Nothing at all wrong with a Colonial, Tom! Heaven knows I have my share of them in the pile. Try not to get caught up with the value, at the end of the day it’s worth what you’re willing to pay for itTPK wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 6:24 am My two newest additions are a Contento & a Colonial advertising knives.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
This is a rare Schrade, N.Y. U.S.A. # 233 with shiny black bone handles. It was made 1973-1975, part of a very small run. There is something about the 3 1/4" Jack Knife that is undeniably captivating once you see it in hand. It came as a bonus with some other knives I recently bought from Roland. It was easy to identify the covers as bone once I applied the "tooth tap" test. It provided a lively resonant sound. Delrin always sounds flat and dull. The F&F and W&T are what you would expect of an exceptional knife.
If any of you have additional knowledge about this knife, I would be grateful for your input.
