Anybody want to take a guess what these are? Told my neighbor's daughters (ages 3 and 4) they were porcupine eggs. They bought it!

Most folks around here call them horse apples. These are immature ones (smaller than a golf ball). By late summer they'll be larger than a softball and with no fuzz. Thought maybe the fuzz on these young'uns might throw you off. Ken
