Doc, Skip I must say I eyed it for a while but decided I've already got a couple so did not pursue it. I would have probably lost anyway. That is one of the cleanest with full blades as I have seen. Really beautiful knife. Congrats Skip as I know you will take care of it and appreciate it. Excellent win. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::handshake::

Thank you Floyd. ::handshake:: I'm very pleased with it (from what I've seen) and can't wait for it to arrive. It will receive a place of honor among my other 72's. ::tu::

I just obtained this knife. A Camillus 72, 3 blade, swelled center, short line, 1st generation, "whittler" pocket knife. When I receive it, I'll check it out thoroughly, take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).
AWESOME 72 Skip!! Congratts! :)

I recieved a package from my mom today. ::super_happy:: 4 boxes of PopTarts & a beautifully restored 72 from Jeffinn. My first "72" but surely not my last. You guys should see & feel the Winterbottom bone handles on this thing. ::tu:: And the pins are perfect! Just slightly above the Bone & the pin heads are nicely mushroom shaped. No dings or scratches on them. Just really very nice work. I love it! Thanks Jeff, it's awesome! ::handshake:: ::super_happy::

Today I retrieved this knife from the post office. A Camillus 72, bone handles, 3 blades, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, short-line, first generation, "whittler" pocket knife. It didn't really require any type of cleaning, but I did gently clean each blade. I took some pictures and here it is.

Picked up a Brown stag long line 72 while bottom feeding in the bay. Nothing fancy but cheap and I don't think I had a brown stag. Thanks for looking. ::handshake::
