All nice ring turns Kirk ... Congrats on the silver one as I knew you were on the hunt for one... that one above you noted at top of page as a fruit knife with the serrations reminds me of a bread knife 
but I am not at all a fruit knife expert.. is the blade solid or plated silver?

I agree, however it even has 'Fruit' in script on the handle. As well, balde is solid just shiny -
Granton® is a trademark of the Granton knife company of Sheffield, England. But many knife companies tend to use the term Granton to describe a particular knife blade edge. A Granton blade has a row of identical dimples (or scallops) on both sides of the blade.

I am very familiar with ring opener knives, I even own a couple.
I was referring to the "type" of your above recently posted knife with the "key-ring" hole in the turning mechanism.
I should pay more attention to my "Preview" prior to hitting "Submit"

B4U, I showed my ring turn opener knife to some of the kinfolks and several of the ladies mentioned they liked it as it would not break a nail.

Ok. I admit I’m ignorant. Been collecting nearly 45 years but never saw those before. What exactly is a ring opener? They look great btw.

Oscar, they have a little 'key ring' on the side and that is used to open and close the knife. Several good ones posted on this thread. Interesting little knives.

Hey knife friends, I know I haven't been on much lately... I haven't really been 'on the hunt', as before. But, I do check my hunting grounds from time to time... I just scored this unique looking ring turn on the Bay. Since I now have over 120 ring turn knives I am more select. Though actually there hasn't been anything out there lately. Anyhow, this is a vintage D. Peres ring turn. This old knife advertises the Boardwalk at Atlantic City The Absecon Lighthouse and Marlborough Blenheim Castle. None of which is familiar to me! I do like embossed or reliefs on brass though!
