This Olive has darkened over the years, Boker Evergreen series Winzermesser. I think the tang stamp is unique to this series.

Re: "Wood" You Show Us Your Wood?
Well thanks my friend. Appreciate it. Then again if you only knew what a sad, sick, pathetic hero you have here. When I joined AAPK I did not know what a safe queen was. I hunted and chased what turned me on. Sought what I wanted to carry, use, and play with for the most part. It was my sworn philosophy. After years here I have been swayed by these forums to adjust my attitudes about that and once again have succombed to peer pressure to the point of having a few I don't use. Feels like I'm betraying my moral code and core values. It's addicting and sometimes like a true addict I buy when I'm trying to quit, I put them up in storage when I want to carry and enjoy. And although I feel like a two faced sell out, it does take the sting off a bit when guys like you compliment what I'm doing even though at the same time it gripes me. Thanks for the compliments though and glad you like seeing them.

I think the Queen is Zebra wood. The MM looks to made by Canal Street, so you could probably find pretty easy by asking Eric(EA42).Quick Steel wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 6:14 pm Can anyone help me identify these two woods?

Queen used a lot of birds eye maple and zebra wood during the period your knife was made, more of a probability than a possibility.Quick Steel wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 8:53 pm Montanaman, thank you for your input. Zebra wood is a real possibility.
