Now the wife is on my case again after years of tryin' to tell her not to blame me "God told me to grow it and she'd have to clear it up with Him" I guess the memo's will be coming daily again..Now she has prove that long beards can be trimmed..without God's permission... I really did hate shavin' since my 1971 marriage and Navy discharge I've only cleaned up (her words) with a trim when she'd have a new baby. 4 Kids and the last one was in 1985.. Next she'll want me ta get teeth... LOL
Sorry if I got ya in hot water. Tell her I'm growing mine back and challenged you to a length contest. Braided ,mine way about 2 inches short of my waist when I trimmed it.
Still got the braid , one of these days I'll make a lanyard out of it.
No problem Cowboy she's been puttin' up with it for years but relishes the opportunity to bring it up...as far as the contest goes I haven't noticed growth in awhile so I guess I'm shuttin' down slowly in more ways then one... Mine never got that long even when young...Thats growth.. must be well fertilized... . And Orvet as soon as the couple loose ones(but real important ones) on the bottom give way the VA will gets its first visit from me...
Ya gotta remember when speakin' ta someone ya might be talkin' to the very person you think you are...
Tom, Great looking Guitar collection you have there! You must be one Hell of a Guitar Slinger! Iam a Blues Guy and I like all styles of Blues Music. Do you ever play the Blues?
Heyya Mitch, Ya I'm a big blues fan, Listen to alot of the great players.. Fenton Robinson, Albert King, Lonnie Mack, Roy Buchanan, Rory Gallagher, J.J. Cale( whos babies I'd be grateful to have if I were a women.. not a song title..LOL) Buddy Guy, Robin Tower, Robbin Ford, a long list of players you probably already know...My collecting has been mostly solid bodies and archtop guitars but left that world about 10 years ago.. I do play daily and sometimes meet up with old friends for a get together..Right now I'm captured by the haunting vocal of Jim "Dandy" Mangrum from Black Oak Arkansas on their LP. "Early Times" fantastic stuff...Give a listen if ya get the chance... Tom
